A presentation on Civil War records available for research at the State Archives of North Carolina is available to groups and organizations throughout North Carolina. Information will be directed on how to use surviving records to perform genealogical research on soldiers and civilians in the American Civil War with an emphasis on the strengths and weakness of surviving types of records. (Time: 1.5 hour EST.) Handouts provided.
